Before my name ever appeared on the placement list for JPMorgan Chase, my journey had already taken shape—one filled with quiet determination, challenges, and growth. Like many tech graduates, I had the knowledge and the drive, but I lacked a clear path forward. I was ready to build a career, but I didn’t know how to take that first step.
That’s when I found Revature.
“Revature didn’t just prepare me for the tech world—it gave me the confidence to return, grow, and thrive.” — Arun Mathew
I joined Revature with one goal in mind: to gain the real-world experience, structure, and mentorship I needed to turn my potential into a profession. What I discovered was far more than just technical training. I found a community that believed in me, mentors who challenged me, and a curriculum that pushed me far beyond my comfort zone.
There was one simulation project that became a turning point in my journey. It was designed to reflect real-world enterprise challenges—and not only did I complete it, I excelled. That moment showed me I was ready. Ready to enter the corporate tech world. Ready to believe in myself.
After completing the program, I launched my career in software development. But my story didn’t end there.
Years later, I returned—this time through the Revature Alumni Program. I brought with me everything I had learned along the way: deeper knowledge, greater confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. Revature welcomed me back, and soon after, I was placed at JPMorgan Chase—a milestone that meant more because of the journey it took to get there.
Today, I look back with gratitude. Revature didn’t just prepare me for a job—it helped shape the person and the professional I’ve become.
